Sherston's 4th Apple Day

Thanks to everyone who came along to Sherston's 4th Apple Day on 6th October and made it such a success!

Sustainable Sherston pressed and sold juice (lots of juice!) and gave demonstrations on the field.

The Friends of Sherston School ran games, activities and the cafe, with a special mention for cleaning the Village Hall on a damp, muddy day after many feet had tracked mud and grass over it.

Our commercial stalls cosied up in the small hall, with Luckington Farm running their barbeque on the field despite the weather.  Many thanks to Luckington Farm, Malmesbury Honey, Armadeli Cheese, Adeline's Farm and Alivu Oil tastings, showcasing local food sources.  

In the atrium we had Whatley Manor, who give us such good support, Sherston Brownies, Sustainable Sherston and the new School Gardening Club, along with bulb sales.

Proceeds to Sustainable Sherston from Apple Day are used to fund Apple Day, to support FSS sustainability projects and to provide small amounts of funding for sustainability projects within the village, such as equipment for the School Gardening Club.
